The Charity Code Jam is about pulling people together to help charities with technology needs. These events hosted at different technology conferences, aim to accomplish two specific goals. First to help charities in need with their critical technology centric projects and second to provide participants with unparalleled extreme hands-on training. During The Charity Code Jam, participants get a chance to build solutions, around the latest technologies and methods. They work in teams from around the world, all focused to solve real-life and complex problems all in a pressure cooker environment. Participants are assisted by mentors and community experts in the field. These experts are available to answer questions and provide one-on-one assistance. At the end of The Charity Code Jam, participants get the satisfaction of helping a charity while learning skills that will help them in their jobs.
